First Bite of The Big Apple

Welcome back to my blog! If you’ve been around for a while, you know that this isn’t my first blog post. While running Kiki Thrifts, I wrote and shared blog posts centered around lifestyle advice. I wrote about letting go of your past, learning from your mistakes, working towards your dreams, and coping with big changes in your life, among other things. This blog, however, will be a little bit different. Welcome to “Confessions From a Midtown Window.” This time around, blog posts will still be personal, sure, based on my own perceptions and opinions of course, but it will be primarily focused on fashion. The center of my content will be the fashion world, my knowledge of it, my views on it, the things I love and the things I don’t, as well as whatever comes with that. 

I’ve been in New York, studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology, for a little more than a semester now. I’m developing as a person, I’m learning so much about the industry that I love, and I’m more exposed to the world than I’ve ever been. I’m learning more about who I am, who I want to be, and how I’m going to get there. I truly did find my heart in NYC:') As I continue the journey that I’m on here in Midtown, Manhattan, I’m excited to let you into my mind as I explore new topics and ideas. I’ve already learned so much here, and I couldn’t be more excited to continue learning more. 

I’m looking forward to sharing a piece of this journey (in my new life, and my new world) with you. I hope that you’re looking forward to becoming a part of it!
