Dream Collab

If I was able to collaborate with anyone in the world on content creation, it would be Harry Styles himself. Now I know what you’re probably thinking- content creation and Harry Styles? Two things that don’t often go together. He’s a very to-himself man, to the disappointment of the media. However- I actually think that would make collaborating with him on something like a blog post that much better, and that much more interesting. 

Harry is a deeply intelligent and emotionally intelligent man. His lyrics and his music mean so much to so many different people, although he has never been one to come out and assign a direct meaning to them. He leaves his songs to be interpreted by his fans, which often results in the songs meaning different things to different people, depending on what they need to hear. I’ve always found that so interesting about his work, and so deeply meaningful. 

Having been in such a strong spotlight for so many years of his life now, I believe the perspective Harry has of the world would be unlike that of anyone else. It amazes me how he has seen so much, and been through so many experiences, and still has a positive outlook and believes in kindness above all else. I would love to know more about experiences he has had that have shaped how he sees the world. I’d love to know more about what has made kindness so important to him. 

Lastly, Harry would be an ideal collaborator for a blog because of the beauty in the things he has to say, and the way in which he chooses to say them. He isn’t very active in the eye of the public, so what we hear from him is usually limited to his music and the interviews he takes part in. The beauty of what he could contribute to a blog would be his words and ideas in a far less abstract way than in his songs, yet not as structured as an interview. The blog would be the perfect inbetween of song lyrics left to individual’s interpretations and systematic answers to interviewer’s questions. 

I have so much respect for the words that come out of Harry Styles’ mouth and the ideas that live in his mind. Having him as a collaborator for a blog post would bring nothing but positivity and beautiful insights to anyone who read it. So, yes, while it may be an unattainable feat and not quite realistic in this lifetime, he would be my dream collaboration. Because anything can happen in dreams right? Including getting to work with an idol of mine, and gaining more insight into the alluring realm of his mind.
